OUTLOOK CALENDAR

Please note this will add all the 2010-2011 syllabus items into your Outlook calendar. However Outlook does not automatically update the times or dates should they change, you will need to do that manually.

Follow the instructions below for Microsoft Outlook 2000/2003/XP to install. It will also work with later versions of Outlook, but the import method may differ slightly. Note you MUST use the instructions, if you simply download the file and double click it, then only one calendar entry will be added instead of all of them.

- 'Right' click here to download the calendar file and save it to your Desktop
- In Outlook select the "File" menu
- Select "Import and Export"
- Select "Import an icalendar or vCalendar file (.vcs)"
- Click on the Desktop button
- Select "icalendar format (*.ics)" from the drop down box
- Locate the saved file
- Select OK

The syllabus should now have been loaded into your calendar. Note there is no indication that it has been imported but check some dates in your calendar to see if the dates have been added.

Also be aware if you have imported successfully once and repeat the process above again it will duplicate the entries rather than replace them. You can however perform an 'advanced search' on your calendar, find the old entries, delete them and then import a newer file.
